TERMS & CONDITIONS

Your Statutory rights are not affected by any of the following terms and conditions.

1. Price

All furniture on this web site is offered at the price shown on screen and is inclusive of United Kingdom VAT (Currently 17.5%). Payment for goods may be by secure credit card transaction, by telephone or personal cheque. There are no addtional charges applied to credit card purchases. Cheques should be made payable to BEDS AND FURNITURE . All prices are correct at time of publication. Errors and omissions are excepted.

2. Delivery

FREE Delivery Offer - Free delivery applies to all orders for delivery to green zone postcodes. Amber and red zone postcodes incur a charge. Please see the DELIVERY COSTS page for details of postcode zones.

We only deliver to the
United Kingdom. We attempt to deliver all orders within the time frame specified in the DELIVERY COSTS page. Our charges vary depending on your location. Please view the delivery page for more information.

Delivery Failures. Depending on the method of delivery we use the following terms will apply to failed deliveries. (You will always be informed how we intend to deliver your order prior to its delivery).

a. Delivery By Parcel Courier - We or our nominated carrier will contact you to arrange a delivery date with you. Should you not be home when your order arrives, our carrier will attempt delivery up to three times and contact you to re-arrange. After three failed deliveries, the goods shall be returned to our warehouse at your cost. Your order will then be cancelled and refunded minus a £30 return delivery charge.

b. Delivery By Our Own Vehicles or Sub Contract Direct Home Delivery Service - We will call you to arrange delivery and you will be given an estimated time window. Should you not be home when we arrive, the goods shall be returned to our warehouse A failed delivery fee of £30 will be applied to your order, regardless of whether the order is re-delivered or cancelled. If the delivery failure is because we arrive outside of the agreed time window, then the failed delivery fee will obviously not be charged.

Please note that it is your responsibility to be home to accept delivery at the previously arranged date/time.

3. Cancellations

You may cancel your order at any time by contacting us via email or telephone. If your goods have not been dispatched, we will arrange for a refund to the card you used to purchase the goods. Please note that if you cancel your order and your card has been charged, there will be a 2.5% credit card refund fee applied. This is what we pay the credit card processing companies to charge your card when you place your order and this is NON-REFUNDABLE. If you have used a debit card (Visa Delta, Solo, Switch) there will be no refund charge. If your order has been dispatched, you will also be charged for the costs of returning the goods to us. This charge is £30, excpet on double mattresses where the charge is £50. This will be deducted from any refund given. Unless the goods are faulty, we will not refund any delivery charges.

4. Returns - Defective Products

If you receive your furniture and there are any defects then, at our discretion we will either replace the faulty item or provide a full refund for the total purchase price and we will collect the goods at our cost. Just call 07515 060335 so that we can arrange collection.

5. Returns - 14 Day Cooling Off Period

Under the new European Directive on distance selling (Which is incorporated into
UK law by the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000), you have the unconditional right to cancel your order within 14 days without having to give us a reason. The 14 days start from the day after the day that you receive the goods at the designated delivery address. We will provide a full refund for the purchase price of the goods (Minus a 2.5% credit card processing fee which is non-refundable, see cancellations above), but not any delivery charges (If delivery has been made). In order for us to provide a refund, all goods must be unopened and in perfect condition. We unconditionally reserve the right to not refund if the goods are not returned in a suitable condition. Please note that if you exercise this right, you will have to pay the cost of returning the goods to us. This charge is £30. Where you exercise this right to cancel, we undertake to refund your money within 7 days of receiving the goods back into our warehouse. In addition to the return delivery charges, we will not refund any delivery charges you may have incurred in receiving your goods. The only exception to this is if the goods are faulty, in which case we bear all the costs.

Under no circumstances (Except if faulty), will flatpacked furniture be accepted back once assembly is partially or fully completed. For reasons of hygiene, mattresses will not be accepted back if the bag seals have been opened. Vaccuum packed foam mattresses will not be accepted back if they have been decompressed ready for use.
