Below is a guide to helping you choose the correct size bed for your room and needs :

Sizing Guide

All of our Divan beds are 6'3" (foot and inches) 190cm in length with the exception of the King Size and Super King Size beds which are 6'6" 200cm  in length.

Our metal and leather beds are sized according  so will vary from model to model in terms of length and width. Whereas a Divan is equal in terms of size to its base and mattress, a metal, leather or antique brass may be slightly larger in size to cater for the mattress. You should take this into consideration when making a purchase.

Please Note : as we can manufacture beds directly we can build beds to bespoke sizes. If you are interested in a bespoke size then please let us know and we can arrange someone to call you.

Junior Single Beds

Our Junior single beds are 2 feet 6 inches wide and a standard 6 feet 3 inches in length. Please allow for a little extra room when measuring. 75cm x 190cm

Standard Single Beds

Our Standard single beds are 3 feet wide and a standard 6 feet 3 inches in length. Please allow for a little extra room when measuring. 90cm x 190cm

Double Beds (34)

Our Double (34) Beds are 4 feet wide and a standard 6 feet 3 inches in length. Please allow for a little extra room when measuring. 120cm x 190cm

Standard Double Beds

Our Double Beds are 4 feet 6 inches wide and a standard 6 feet 3 inches in length. Please allow for a little extra room when measuring. 135cm x 190cm

King Size

Our King Size Beds are 5 feet wide and a longer 6 feet 6 inches in length. Please allow for a little extra room when measuring. 150cm x 200cm

Super King Size

Our King Size Beds are 6 feet wide and a longer 6 feet 6 inches in length. Please allow for a little extra room when measuring. 180cm x 200cm

Delivery

Beds and Furniture specialise in supplying beds direct to the public. The majority of our beds are manufactured in West Yorkshire and are supplied directly to Beds and Furniture. We have a long standing relationship with our bed manufacturers so we can guarantee quality and workmanship.

Because there are no middlemen involved, B&F can offer you the best possible price. We believe that our beds are of some of the highest quality in relation to their affordability.

 

As the majority of beds are manufactured locally, we can usually deliver within 14 working days. Please note, most of our deliveries are made within 7 working days.

Once you place an order via the website, we will send you a confirmation email and you will then be contacted by our couriers who will agree a delivery date and approximate time. You can if you wish, request that the delivery driver call you one hour before they arrive. Because of the distances involved and local traffic it is very hard to specify an accurate time.

Deliveries are made between the days Monday and Friday and between the times of 7am and 7 pm. Please advise us of any problems our driver may encounter such as difficult parking or access points.

While we can provide guidelines for how long delivery takes, we cannot and do not guarantee delivery times.

We deliver to the UK Mainland only and do not deliver to Eire, Northern Ireland, The Channel Islands and most of the Highlands of Scotland.

* £10 Delivery is offered to most of mainland UK. However, there are some areas that will incur an additional delivery charge. If your order incurs an additional delivery charge we will inform you in advance and give you the option of having a full refund before progressing with the order. Unfortunately, some areas in the UK are not deliverable. This is partly due to our drivers requiring 'stay outs' overnight which we do not condone for safety reasons.
